A Weekend in Paris

Ken suprised the whole family with a mystery trip on our first weekend in the UK. Here we are in London at the train station getting ready to get on the Eurostar. We have just found out that we are going to Paris! Note – Noah has his “iPod”.

Just arrived and found a cute little bistro for a snack. We ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwhich for the kids and the cheese came on top of the sandwich. Of course a nice bottle of French wine and a plate of salami and bread for the adults.

The train ride was beatiful. The interesting part is that it only took 20 minutes in the Chunnel. Pringles are a big thing in here EU.

WHAT? I am in Paris – right? We were able to get 6 bottles of wine in our suitcases.

This is the view from our hotel room. Amazing. We decided not to stand in line and go up the Effiel Tower on this trip but it was beautiful at night. It lit up and then blinked on and off. Maybe next trip!

Bye River Seine. We will be back again.

Love all the pictures – especially the Tower at night. The driving signs are another thing – can they put the “big L” on both sides of the car? love YA Jeanne
