There is a short hall from the entryway that leads to the kitchen. Off of the hall is the laundry room, shown here. On the right is just a wall (shared with the dining room). Left is a tall cabinet then a counter with sink. Underneath is a washing machine, cabinet, and a freezer. The door opens on the side of the house. The thing hanging on the wall is the water heater that pumps hot water into a holding tank upstairs. 
Go back the hall and looking right as you come into the kitchen.
Then, standing by the sink looking the other way. The french doors open onto the patio.
