On 27 June I’ll be flying across the pond to Southampton England. This town is about 75 miles southwest of London. They say that it has the best weather in England, for what that’s worth.

In case you don’t know already, my family and I are moving there. I’ll be working in the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research at the University of Southampton ( http://www.isvr.soton.ac.uk/ ) and Lynlee will continue to work for Icon Clinical Research which has an office a few miles from campus.
So I’ll be flying over, with Lynlee and the kids to follow at the beginning of August. Right now, we plan on finding a house somewhere in Chandlers Ford, a suburb north of Southampton. I’ll be living in University Temporary Housing for a while why I look for a house. All of our stuff will be packed up on 20 June and it will take about a month to get there by boat.
Stay tuned to our blog for updates on our move, our new home, where the kids end up going to school, and our travels.

Ken:
Congratulations on your new job and congratulations on turning 40. I thought about you earlier this year.
I attended Tim’s 40 b-day party and Doug and I will celebrate (him on July 4, me on July
with backstage passes to see Sammy Hagar in Cleveland on July 4.
For me, turning 40 is really too much to fathom. I’m middle-aged and not sure what to do about it.
Best of luck to you.

Hey Lynlee,
I can’t believe you are moving to the UK. What an opportunity! I tried to find your email, but I couldn’t … forward it to me when you get a chance. (juliecporter@yahoo.com)
I would love to catch up and see how you and the family are doing – other than the obvious.
Cheers!
